If you can’t beat them, join them. A day after what was shaping up to be a tense late inning battle turned into a rout, Sacred Heart scored five runs in the last two innings to put away Saint John’s Prep 12-6 in Queens and even their season series at a game a piece.
Powered by the bat of sophomore Elijah Paulino, and the arm of Senior PJ Connaire, the Irish evened their conference record at 3-3, defeating Cathedral Prep, 5-3, on Friday at Welty Field.
The latest standout performance from the Sacred Heart Players begins this Friday, April 22 at 7:00 pm in the Sacred Heart Church Hall. Shows will also take place on Saturday, April 23 at 7:00 and Sunday, April 24, at 2:00 pm.
