Sacred Heart Lenten Service Project for the Yonkers Animal Shelter

April 19, 2022For their Lenten service project, the student body at Sacred Heart High School collected food, toys, blankets, and towels for the Yonkers Animal Shelter. On April 12, a group of students and teachers dropped off a van load of supplies to the shelter and visited with the animals. Deputy Parks Commissioner and Sacred Heart alum, Mr. Steve Sansone met with the students to speak to them about the importance of this service project.
