Sacred Heart High School hosted Pascasie Musabyemungu, a representative of Catholic Relief Services, on Wednesday, March 9. Pascasie, making her first visit to the United States, shared her stories of reconciliation, solidarity, and peacebuilding from her native Rwanda.
This Lent, all Sacred Heart High School studenst are participating in CRS' Operation RiceBowl, through their respective homerooms.
Beginning in September of 2015, Sacred Heart became a "Global High School," parntering with CRS to raise awareness about the many programs it runs throughout the world.
In addition to Pascasie's presentations, the students held assemblies to give them insight into the deeper meaning of the Eucharist. The day concluded with a school-wide Mass.
