Sacred Heart High School is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Brendan Clark as its first Director of Admissions. Mr. Clark will lead Sacred Heart's efforts in promoting the school's academic achievements and will organize networking opportunities for students in Yonkers, the Bronx, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, and beyond.
Born and raised in the North End of the Bronx (Parkchester), Mr. Clark attended St. Helena Elementary School ('08) and All Hallows High School ('12). He graduated from Iona College ('16) with a BBA in Finance and a minor in Speech Communications. Mr. Clark was previously employed by the Boys and Girls Club of New Rochelle. He began as a Youth Development Professional and created successful work environments which fostered growth in academics and character development. During that time, he excelled in identifying youth leadership through various sports programs including intramural football, the MLB sponsored 'Play Ball' program (which serviced 100+ children), and basketball on the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Mr. Clark was promoted to Director of the Boys and Girls Club at Central School (Larchmont). His position provided him with nonprofit experience including the control of expenditures juxtaposed to an annual budget, the assessment of overall club programs, and the implementation of strategic organizational changes.
His sense of community, family, and his management experience will launch Sacred Heart's name into new neighborhoods and communities. One of his goals is to provide insight into Sacred Heart's mission, as well as share the value of a four-year Catholic education.
Mr. Clark will begin his position full-time at the beginning of November. His email is [email protected].
