Each student will be asked to raise at least $20 in preparation for the Walk-a-Thon. A pledge sheet is attached to this letter. Students are encouraged to find sponsors to assist them in reaching their goal. All money, along with the pledge sheet, must be submitted to homeroom teachers by Wednesday, October 10 (the sooner the better!). On Friday, October 12, the day of the Walk-a-Thon, students are expected to be in homeroom by 8:30 am. This will be a modified dress down day: students may wear jeans or sweatpants, but they must also wear some sort of Sacred Heart apparel: gym shirt, jersey, sweatshirt, etc. The walk will begin at 9:00 am and we will return to school by 11:30 am for dismissal. Riverdale and Sacred Heart Bus Service will pick up students from school shortly after 11:30 am.
