December 16, 2018The Sacred Heart High School Interact Club is featured in the Dec 14, 2018 issue of Yonkers Rising ( www.http://yonkersrising.com/ )! The Interact Club (part of Sacred Heart’s Outreach “SHOUT” program) “brings together young people to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of service above self”. Under the guidance of SHHS faculty member Ms. Anne Murphy the students organized a canned food drive as part of their community service activities. “Interact Clubs organize at least two projects every year; one that helps their school, and one that promotes international understanding”. Thanks to the Rotary Club of Yonkers-East Yonkers for sponsoring the first Interact Club at Sacred Heart High School!
