In just a few days, the hallways of Sacred Heart will be filled again: in fact, this year will mark the 95th time our doors will open for a new school year. Since 1923, Sacred Heart High School has provided excellent and affordable Catholic Education to the young women and men of Yonkers, the Bronx, Manhattan, Mount Vernon, White Plains, and the river towns of Lower and Central Westchester.
As I begin my term as Pastor and President, I am most grateful to the many dedicated administrators, teachers, staff, coaches, and alumni who have sacrificed so much to make Sacred Heart a lasting fixture in Yonkers.
Because of your dedication and love for Sacred Heart, I invite you to join me in our 95 for 95 Campaign, in which we seek contributions of $95 from our friends and alumni to honor our 95th year of operation here in Yonkers.
This campaign will be unique for two reasons: the first is that it will take place completely online, using email, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media outlets, reducing overhead so that every penny raised will benefit our Sacred Heart High School Community. What is more, we will use funds generated through the 95 for 95 Campaign, to restore the true heart of our school, by renewing our Chapel, as well as refurbishing the main entrance of the school on Convent Avenue.
Every contribution counts: the more funds raised through this campaign, the further our renewal will travel, stretching through the upper and lower breezeways and eventually creating a series of pictures and multimedia that honor our prestigious alumni, recognize achievements in Academics, Athletics, and the Arts, while inspiring current students to follow on their own paths to greatness.

I have already made my contribution, because I know what the power of the friends and alumni of Sacred Heart can do. Please join me today!
Sincerely yours,
Rev. Matthew Janeczko, OFM Cap.
PS – If you wish to increase the power of the 95 for 95 Campaign, double your contribution to $180 and receive a special invitation to a November Wine Tasting Town Hall Meeting to hear all about the future of Sacred Heart High School!
