Lady Irish Earn Berth in State Playoffs

As representatives of the Archdiocese of New York, Class B Division, the Lady Irish of Sacred Heart have been granted a berth in the upcoming State Playoffs, beginning on Friday, March 11 at Msgr. McClancy High School in Queens, NY. The Irish will face off against the Diocese of Buffalo Class B Champion at 5:00 pm.

The winner of that game will play against the winner of a semi-final game between the Diocese of Rockville Center/Diocese of Brooklyn. The State Championship will be played on Saturday, March 12 at Saint John's Villa High School in Staten Island.

As a result, the "City Playoffs," originally scheduled at Sacred Heart on March 1, 3, and 6 have been cancelled.
